At that price a buyer is usually choosing between square footage in a newer south-end subdivision and character or lot size in an established central neighbourhood, since Saskatoon's market does not have the extreme price compression by neighbourhood that some larger cities show.
Stonebridge and Brighton offer more new-build square footage per dollar at that budget, while Lakeview and Lakeridge offer larger, older lots with mature trees. Nutana and City Park sit at the upper end of the older, central neighbourhoods and can absorb that budget on a smaller, more character-driven home.
Which of those actually makes sense depends on what the specific house offers once you are inside it, not the neighbourhood label on the listing. Get your hand-reviewed valuation from Joel Dyck.
