Your lawyer can also lodge a complaint with ISC to flag the file while the search is underway, which helps stop a further transfer from being registered on top of the fraudulent one while the matter is being sorted out.
Report it to the Saskatoon Police Service as identity fraud as well, since a police file supports both the ISC complaint and, if it comes to that, a court application to correct the title through the Court of King's Bench.
