What does attention to detail mean when selling a home?

Attention to detail in a home sale means fixing the small things a buyer will notice anyway, a burnt-out bulb, a sticking door, a scuffed wall, before they surface in a $400 to $600 home inspection. The Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission requires every representative to act with skill and diligence, and the small stuff is where that shows first.

It also means the paperwork, not just the property. Measurements that match the assessment record, photos that represent actual room sizes, and a listing description that does not overstate a feature all protect you from a buyer walking away over a discrepancy found after an accepted offer.

On pricing, it means checking a comparable against its actual condition and improvements rather than just its address and size, since two homes on the same street with different renovation histories are not really comparable at all. That is the gap an online estimate cannot see and a hand-reviewed valuation can.
