What does a real estate agent actually do after the offer is accepted?

After an accepted offer, an agent's work shifts from marketing to managing conditions, coordinating with the buyer's side, and keeping the file on track toward possession, a process every Saskatchewan sale follows on the way to closing through Information Services Corporation. The offer being accepted is the start of a second phase, not the finish line.

Most Saskatchewan offers include conditions, financing and a home inspection among the most common, and the agent's job is tracking those deadlines, coordinating access for the inspection, typically $400 to $600, and communicating results between both sides so nothing lapses by accident.

Once conditions are satisfied, the agent hands the file to the lawyers on both sides for the legal closing through Information Services Corporation, while still fielding any last issues, an appraisal request from the buyer's lender, a repair request, or a possession date question, as they come up.

A missed deadline or a poorly managed condition period is how a good offer falls apart late. Get your hand-reviewed valuation from Joel Dyck.
