Is North Park a good place to live?

North Park is an established Saskatoon neighbourhood that suits a buyer who wants an older, settled street closer to the city's core than its newer edge suburbs, based on the age of housing stock the City of Saskatoon tracks by area. It is a quieter, more residential fit than a busy new-build zone.

Because the housing here predates modern building codes, mechanical systems, roofing and windows are more likely to be due for replacement than in a neighbourhood built in the last 15 years, and a buyer should budget for that rather than being surprised by it after possession.

Against the Saskatchewan REALTORS Association's citywide benchmark of $444,700, North Park tends to appeal to buyers prioritizing an established, lower-turnover street over the largest possible floor plan.
