Lakeview sits in the city's southeast and was built out mostly through the 1970s and 1980s around the Lakewood Civic Centre. Lots there tend to run larger than the city average, mature trees line the streets, and schools sit within walking distance, which is why it draws a steady stream of move-up buyers rather than first-time ones.
That era of construction cuts both ways on price.
