Saskatchewan REALTORS Association membership is what gives an agent access to the local multiple listing service, the tool that actually puts your home in front of other agents and their buyers across the city and the province.
Licensing is the separate, mandatory layer underneath that membership. The Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission regulates every licensee in the province, requires commission to be agreed in writing between seller and brokerage, and can discipline an agent who does not meet its standards.
