Does it cost anything to work with a buyer's agent in Saskatoon?

In most Saskatoon transactions, a buyer does not pay their agent directly, since commission is traditionally offered by the seller and split with the buyer's agent through the listing agreement Real Broker SK Ltd. and other brokerages use, but a signed buyer representation agreement can specify a direct fee if the seller's offered amount does not cover it.

Total seller closing costs run 4 to 6 percent, commission included alongside legal fees and adjustments, and that is the figure the seller is budgeting against, not a number the buyer sees on an invoice in a standard deal.

Where a buyer's representation agreement gets specific is in situations where no commission is being offered by the seller at all, such as a private sale, in which case the agreement's fee terms determine whether the buyer owes anything directly.
