A designation can still reflect real training an agent chose to pursue on their own time, so it is not meaningless, but it is a voluntary credential layered on top of licensing, not a requirement or a higher tier of licence recognized provincially.
What matters more day to day is whether the agent is in good standing with the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission and whether they belong to a real estate board as a REALTOR®, which carries CREA's code of ethics, in a market currently at 1.63 months of supply. Neither of those shows up as a lettered designation.
